Biswanath College, located in an ideal setting .is all set to realize as a seat of academic in excellence in years to come. The College holds a pride among academic institutions of the state particularly in the vast area of the northern Part of the river Brahmaputra and the eastern part of the river Bharali of Sonitpur District of Asom. Established on 7th September, 1960, it has grown from humble beginning to a place of strength.

Biswanath College has been accredited with “B” Grade by NAAC (NATIONAL ASSESSMENT & ACCREDITATION COUNCIL) in 2004.

Biswanath College College aims at producing a number of graduates committed to the society around it and the whole of Asom at large during the years to come in the same tune as it has been doing since its inception.
